Mom, that sounds like you

My daughter insisted that I listen to this band and give her my opinion. We certainly have different taste in music.

The band I believe is called Panic! At the Disco (something like that), and one of the songs were "I write sins not tragedies." As we were sitting here listening to the song, there is a part that says "haven't you ever heard of closing the God damn door." She says "mom that sounds like you." I looked at her and said, "I don't say God damn."

It is true though I am forever yelling at them to close the door. Like they have a tribe of Indians following them in. It drives me crazy.

Like I said we have different taste in music.

Fist of all, hi, and happy birthday for last week!

Hmm - generational gaps in musical tastes? Pah, doesn't happen! Green Day are unbelievably dire though, not a proper band like AC/DC or Led Zeppelin... ;)

And, from the last post, good luck with the true love thing. :)

My boys are easy to please. I was dying my hair last night with my daughter in the bathroom with me. The boys were in their bedroom singing along with some country song that was on the television, something about love.

My daughter yells to them, "you boys really don't need to be singing." She always has a smart remark, especially with them.

I thought they sounded adorable, both of them just sitting there singing together.

Way back in the day I listened to Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, I was a big Ted Nugent fan (being from Michigan). I saw Alice Cooper & AC/DC in concert. Now I mostly listen to country (I picked this up when I lived in Louisiana).
